Insider Made in Wales Medical & Life Sciences
Award
The 20th October marked the first award and dinner
of the prestigious Insider, Made in Wales Award. The evening proved
to be a celebration of some of the best designing and manufacturing
companies making products in Wales. Nominated for several awards,
Flexicare Medical won the esteemed award for the company and
product which the judges deemed to have had the biggest impact
during the period July 2010 to June 2011. The award was presented
to Gareth Davies, General Manager of Flexicare by Douglas Friedli,
Editor of the Insider business magazine.
Wales Quality Award
On the 8th December, the annual Wales Quality
Awards ceremony was hosted by Vincent Kane OBE at Cardiff City
Hall. Within the category for best Innovation, Flexicare Medical,
won the prestigious award for the development of Hall Lock.
MediWales Innovation Award
On the same night, the MediWales Innovation Award
was also presented to Flexicare by Greg Bailey, Chairman of
MediWales. The award was given for the development of a partnership
with the NHS/Academia that will have a major impact on patient care
and cost savings.
Award Season comes early as Flexicare
receives three awards for our innovative Hall Lock range.
