LuerSafe breathing filters incorporate a unique cap-less self sealing port which will only accept the correct corresponding color coded LuerSafe monitoring line to be fitted to open the valve and provide uninterrupted flow to sample CO2 levels.
LuerSafe eliminates erroneous misconnections to standard luer connections such as IV tubing or other connectors ensuring a fail-safe connection to the monitoring port only.
Cap-less Design
The self sealing valve prevents air flow in and out of the filter when a monitoring port line is not connected, eliminating the need to have a cap to be manually fixed and removed.
Color Coded Valve
The LuerSafe valve is visibly seen through the filter housing by its distinctive orange color whih can be easily matched to the correct corresponding color coded monitoring line connector.
Unique Size Luer Port
Eliminating the risk of patient misconnection by not accepting a standard luer lock connector. The unique size only fits the LuerSafe monitoring line identified by the color coded connector.
